The six room, 12 bed lodge is situated in attractive teak and camelthorn woodland overlooking a series of waterholes along an inter-dune trough. The four treehouses are well appointed with en-suite bathrooms, insulated canvas walls, sliding glass doors and windows. Each room has a beautiful wooden deck, showcasing the ancient camelthorns in which they are perched enabling guests to watch wildlife wandering below them from the comfort of their treehouse.
The lodge also offers a tented family suite similar to the one at Bomani Tented Lodge. This two bedroom tented suite is on a raised wooden platform (approx. 1 meter above the ground). There is a king bed in one room and 2 single beds in the other, each ensuite, providing flexible accommodation options for families as well as honeymooners, couples and friends travelling together.
We see Tum Tum as a lodge where our guests can slow down and relax on their treehouse decks to enjoy the wildlife parade beneath and all around this beautiful Camelthorn woodland.
