Our Camps
Wild Comfort

Each of our safari lodges and camps has been meticulously designed to wrap you in comfort, a splash of luxury, and an exciting dash of uniqueness. The locations have been carefully selected for two vital reasons: the local community’s dedication to our conservation partnership and the proximity to some of nature’s most impressive wonders, in and around Hwange National Park. Each property has a style of its own, making it easy and fun to combine two or three of the camps for an incredible safari experience.

Nehimba Lodge
Living with Elephants
Nestled away on a remote private concession in the northern part of Hwange National Park, Nehimba Lodge combines comfort, elegance, and African charm for an exceptional safari experience. Nine spacious canvas under thatch tents are built on teak decks and overlook a magnificent waterhole that is frequented by large numbers of elephants.
Camelthorn Lodge
Living Under the Acacias
Our flagship lodge is hidden in a stand of pristine woodland just west of the famous Ngamo Plains on the edge of Hwange National Park. The lodge is unique in its style and design and has as its centerpiece a huge ancient Camelthorn tree. Strategically situated to explore this remote portion of the park, Camelthorn offers a spectacular wilderness experience.

Bomani Tented Camp

Living on the Plains

Bomani Tented Camp is situated in a private concession of the magnificent Ngamo Plains, on the edge of the remote and unspoilt southeastern corner of Hwange National Park. Bomani is famous for its unique scenery as well as its large herds of elephants and a host of animals and resident birdlife. A safari experience you won’t soon forget!

Jozibanini Camp
Living in the Wilderness
Jozibanini Camp is situated in one of the most untouched areas of Southern Hwange National Park. This is a small, exclusive camp in a spectacularly wild place—incredible for anyone looking for a unique and untamed wilderness experience. Time seems to stand still at Jozi, almost impossible to describe—memories made here will linger a long time.

WHY HWANGE NATIONAL PARK?

  • With 14 651 square kilometers of wilderness to explore, Hwange National Park is bigger than the Serengeti National Park.
  • For Hwange’s impressive size, the per annum visitor numbers are small in contrast to the density of travelers to parks such as the Serengeti, Masai Mara, and Kruger—it is likely you will spend most of your safari without seeing other vehicles except those from the lodge you are staying at—an exclusive experience indeed!
  • Hwange National Park is easy to reach from Victoria Falls by air in a private charter or a combination of road and the unique Elephant Express railcar transfer.
  • Hwange is home to approximately 46 000 elephants, compared with Masai Mara at 3 700, Kruger at 13 750 and Serengeti at 2 100. In the dry season in Hwange, it is likely you will see elephants numbering in the hundreds congregating at waterpoints. Amazingly there are more elephants than guests visiting Hwange National Park in a year!
  • Hwange National Park offers exceptional game viewing year-round and is one of the best parks in Africa for diversity of wildlife and within Zimbabwean parks, the largest species diversity and populations of sable, cheetah, wild dog, and lion.
  • Hwange’s Professional Guides serve apprenticeships lasting between 5 and 10 years and their skills are recognized as among the best in Africa.
